Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.

• Ensure regulatory compliance with all aspects of slot machine maintenance i.e.; moves, conversions, and repair. 

• Ensure functionality of the slot maintenance system.

• Interact with Slot Operations personnel and guests while repairing slot machine functions. 

• Assist with slot layout and installation.

• Work on special projects as assigned.

• Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs.

• Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.

• Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming.

• Assist guests with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.

• Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate.

• Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.

• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.

• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.

• Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies. 

• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

• Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 21 years of age. 

• High School diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• One to six months related experience and/or training.

Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required (ex: board testers, multi-meters, o-scopes).

• Capable of moving Slot machines and equipment using a dolly or cart.

• Ability to Transport heavy slot machines and heavy equipment long distances across various terrain using a dolly or cart.

• Capable to Position, Put, Install, Remove Slot machines on or off Bases on Casino floor during peak business hours.

• Capable of lifting objects that weigh 30-60lbs pounds 

• Must be able to provide own tools necessary for performing daily task when troubleshooting or making repairs.

• Ability to work any shift applicable (Day, Swing, or Grave) and to be flexible with work schedule if needed for special projects or business demand. 

• Must have experience with Guest service and or present an inviting positive and polite attitude towards our guest and fellow team members.

• Must be able to work with Team and able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills when needed.

• Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
