Job description


The Slot Technician installs, repairs, maintains, and monitors the operation of gaming devices to ensure machines are following gaming regulations. They are responsible for trouble shooting machines and performing general maintenance tasks in addition to responding to floor calls.
Responsibilities
Repair and maintain slot equipment on the casino floor.
Repair and maintain slot equipment in the slot shop.
Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state gaming, local, and/or internal regulations.
Provide regular inspections of all slot machines to ensure there has been no tampering or otherwise illegal attempts to alter machines.
Complete preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting of all gaming machines.
Monitor and program machine CPU boards to legal regulation standards for a variety of machines.
Move and reinstall slot machines as needed.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two-year Electronic Degree is preferred or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance.
Experience updating slot machine software and general knowledge of software is essential.
Ability to accurately troubleshoot and provide management with repair assessments/technical statements.
Strong customer service background.
Must possess great communication skills.
Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices.
Ability to read simple instructions and schematic diagrams.
