Job description

Overview
It is the responsibility of the Slot Services Ambassador to provide excellent service to guests on the casino slot floor. There is also an expectation The Slot Service Ambassador will be required to respond to guest requests for information, handle currency transactions, pay and verify jackpots and fills. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots and repairs minor problems with slot machines and documents accordingly.
  • Enrolls new members into the 24 Karat Club and has the ability to communicate the benefits of membership.
  • Ability to use windows and other casino management software.
  • Assists with slot machine payout issues and equipment problems as they arise.
  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Maintain adequate working inventory of supplies for the current shift and incoming shift.
  • Assists in special projects and/or events when requested.
  • Ability to handle money to pay jackpots and/or make change.
  • Maintain knowledge of all property outlets and upcoming events.
  • Provides information to guests regarding various slot machines.
  • Notifies management of potential issues within the gaming area.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to be trained and coached.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Industry experience required.
  • Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
