Job description

Job Title: DAS Technician / Tower Technician (Night Shift)
Location: Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Night Shift Mon (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM) Tue-Thurs (10:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM)
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We are urgently seeking an experienced DAS Technician / Tower Technician for immediate deployment at Sky Harbor International Airport. This role involves night shift work focused on supporting the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and related RF infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission DAS and small cell equipment in compliance with project specifications.

  • Perform cabling (coax, fiber, CAT) and antenna work, including rooftop and tower access.

  • Conduct sweep, PIM, and fiber testing; validate system performance with iBwave and test equipment.

  • Climb towers or structures safely and work in elevated and confined environments.

  • Follow RF safety procedures and ensure jobsite compliance with FAA and airport safety protocols.

  • Accurately document daily work, test results, and redlines.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in DAS or tower installation/maintenance.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Anritsu, EXFO, PIM testers, and OTDRs.

  • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, cabling standards, and DAS architecture.

  • OSHA 10/30, RF Safety, and Tower Climber Certifications preferred.

  • Ability to pass airport background screening and work overnight hours consistently.

  • Must be physically fit, able to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in secure facilities or airport environments.

  • Familiarity with iBwave designs and public safety DAS installations (ERRCS).

Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay + night differential. Overtime available. Contract or contract-to-hire.
