Job description

White Sky Technologies specializes in systems engineering and technology management solutions for U.S. Government clients. We are committed to meeting our customer’s needs with a dedicated and highly qualified workforce.
We are seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our growing team with experience in Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS. This program will provide development and operational support for the deployment, maintenance, tuning and monitoring of the AEA suite of tools.
Job Description

  • Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications
  • Drive consistency for deployment and build processes
  • Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux and much more
  • Experience working with large teams and demonstrated projects (preferable built on with AWS and familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python)
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding how to setup a CI/CD pipeline
  • Understand Agile software development and DevOps practices and can work closely with your peers and other mid to large size teams
  • Focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production ready code and infrastructure
  • Salary range - $140,000-$235,000, based on qualifications/experience
Requirements
  • 7yrs to 20yrs as a engineer in a role responsible for planning, designing, and leading implementation of high volume software
  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS)
  • Containerization (Docker, k8s, Registries) 
  • IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation
  • CI/CD (Jenkins/ GitHub Actions)
  • Self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in a team environment
  • CWIP IAT Level 1 required
  • Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance
