Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers, fostering technical excellence and growth. - Set architectural direction, define system/software design, and champion best practices. - Integrate, develop, and debug software across flight, simulation, and lab environments. - Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust, automated build and delivery processes. - Architect and scale virtual development labs and software integration infrastructure. - Design and implement automation tools leveraging open-source, commercial, and proprietary frameworks. - Coordinate with mission-system experts, simulation teams, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with project goals. - Uphold mission-critical performance and safety standards in all integration activities. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution (or equivalent professional experience). - Minimum 6 years of C++ programming experience. - At least 4 years of Python programming experience. - 6+ years working with Linux environments. - 3+ years of hardware troubleshooting and integration. - 6+ years of software debugging experience. - 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams. - Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; work onsite at a secure facility. Preferred Skills - Experience with software integration and system-level testing. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. - Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell). - Knowledge of aircraft or mission system software development cycles. - Exposure to simulated environments and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
