Job Summary
General Atomics (GA), and its affiliated companies, is one of the world's leading resources for high-technology systems development ranging from the nuclear fuel cycle to remotely piloted aircraft, airborne sensors, and advanced electric, electronic, wireless and laser technologies.
General Atomics is proud to participate in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, offering transitioning Service Members the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience while completing their military service. This program allows eligible Service Members to bridge their military expertise into meaningful civilian careers with our company.
This is an evergreen SkillBridge posting intended to capture interest from Service Members across a wide range of career fields. Opportunities may span multiple business units, locations, and functional areas depending on organizational needs and candidate alignment.
SkillBridge opportunities may be available in, but are not limited to:

Job Qualifications
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Current active-duty Service Member of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • Within 180 days of separation or retirement from military service at the proposed start of the program
  • Approved for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program by your commanding officer
  • Able to commit full-time to the SkillBridge internship for the agreed duration (up to 180 days)
  • Meet basic qualifications for the target career field based on experience, training, or education
