Internship Description/Summary:


The DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. Separating Service members may be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full-time with approved industry partners after receiving written authorization and approval from their chain of command. IAW DoD SkillBridge policy, participants are not eligible for compensation from KVG LLC during their internship, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.

As a SkillBridge partner, KVG offers real-world training and work experience in fields of work that directly relate to jobs and skills learned by so many in the military. KVG LLC is honored to have the opportunity to review and evaluate the Service member's suitability for the following open opportunities:

Transportation/Logistics/Operations Specialist


Duties: Supports winning and executing projects and programs supporting the company mission. Perform hands-on work designing, developing, coordinating, and facilitation the execution of work through excellent organizational and communication skills and keen prioritizing and scheduling. A successful candidate is proactive, creative, and customer-oriented with a drive to get the mission done.

Qualifications: Military logistics, operations, and/or construction experience strongly preferred.

Project Manager


Duties: Responsible for managing KVG's ongoing projects while identifying and developing new opportunities across our list of clients and customers. Proven experience leading project teams of various sizes and scope, and the ability to track and manage project requirements, costs, and deadlines are key to being successful.

Qualifications: Proven experience in Project Management required; PMP preferred.

Corporate Communications/Public Affairs Specialist/Manager


Duties: Development of strategic corporate communications plans tailored to KVG's key audiences and aligned with the company's strategic priorities and goals. Drive KVG brand awareness and social values/contribution through Social Media campaigns related to activities/projects being completed around the world. Cultivate strong relationships with KVG leadership, project leaders, and key clients/partners to facilitate accurate corporate messaging.

Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in corporate communications, marketing, etc. Experience in communicating change management preferred. Social media campaign experience preferred.
