SITEC Consulting is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer Level 2 or Level 3 to support a mission-focused customer environment. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn, comfortable working with technical teams, and able to help drive tasks forward in a fast-paced program environment.
The ideal candidate is a true go-getter who can take initiative, stay organized, communicate clearly, and support engineering, documentation, coordination, and program execution efforts. A technical background is preferred but not required for the right candidate who is willing to learn and grow into the role.

We are looking to identify and onboard the right candidate by the end of July.
Clearance Requirement
  • An active TS/SCI clearance w/Poly is required prior to submission. SITEC is not supporting CCA candidates or upgrading clearance at this time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support systems engineering activities across planning, coordination, documentation, and execution.
  • Track tasks, action items, risks, issues, and program updates using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Maintain clear documentation, meeting notes, status updates, and project-related materials.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders to help move priorities forward.
  • Support customer meetings, working groups, and internal program discussions.
  • Assist with requirements tracking, workflow documentation, process improvement, and technical coordination.
  • Help ensure project information is accurate, organized, and accessible to the team.
  • Support continuity planning, operational readiness, and COOP-related activities, as needed.
  • Learn customer tools, processes, and mission requirements to provide effective program support.
  • Identify gaps, follow up on open items, and help keep work moving toward deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting systems engineering, technical coordination, program support, or mission-focused customer environments.
  • Must have hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative, follow through on tasks, and work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technical concepts.
  • Ability to support a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical background or experience working with software, systems, IT, engineering, or mission operations teams.
  • COOP experience or familiarity with continuity planning.
  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other cleared customer environments.
  • Experience tracking requirements, risks, schedules, action items, or deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows or software development environments.
  • Prior experience supporting customer-facing documentation, briefings, or status reporting.
Why Join SITEC?
At SITEC Consulting, you will support meaningful mission-focused work while gaining exposure to technical teams, customer processes, and systems engineering activities. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is motivated, dependable, and ready to grow within a technical program environment.
