Job description

1st Shift Site Security Supervisor

SecureOne Security Services is hiring a Site Security Supervisor to oversee daily operations, personnel, and client relationships at one or more assigned client locations in the Chicago South Suburbs. This is a full-time leadership position for experienced security professionals ready to take the next step.

About the Role

The Site Security Supervisor is the primary point of contact for their assigned location(s), responsible for direct officer oversight, scheduling coordination, incident management, and client communication. This role requires consistent on-site presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team with professionalism and accountability.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily security operations and officer performance at assigned site(s)
  • Enforce post orders, company policies, and site-specific procedures
  • Conduct shift briefings and communicate expectations clearly to officers
  • Respond to incidents and coordinate with management and clients as needed
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and documentation accurately
  • Identify performance issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Serve as the primary client contact for day-to-day operational matters

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Active Illinois PERC Card required
  • Minimum of 2 years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
