Summary Description

TheInterior Operations Manageroverseesallinteriormaintenance and installationoperations. Thisposition requiresexcellence in service delivery, efficiency increw deployment, and alignment with customer expectations across a portfolio of high-visibilityaccounts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Lead and manage all day-to-day operations for interior plant maintenance and install crews
  • Ensuretimelyand high-quality service delivery across all interior accounts
  • Oversee scheduling, routing, and labor forecasting to maximize crew efficiency
  • Manage and mentor a team of technicians, crewleaders, and install specialists
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction & proactive communication
  • Maintain inventory controls for plants, supplies, and maintenance materials
  • Drive quality assurance through routine site inspections and service audits
  • Partner with the Sales and Design teams to scope, schedule, and execute interior installs
  • Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and company policies
  • Monitor and improve job cost performance, productivity metrics, and operational KPIs
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Deep understanding of plant care, irrigation systems, soil health, and hardscaping installation.
  • Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of landscaping equipment.
  • Throughunderstandingsafetyregulations and industry best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Familiarity with local landscape market trends, regional plant species, and regulatory environments.
  • Understanding ofscheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to lead, train, and supervise field teams and subcontractors.
  • Proficiencyin planning daily, weekly, and seasonal work schedules for multiple crews.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, management, and fieldcrews.
  • Capability to use computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting (e.g., MS Office, scheduling apps).
  • Ability to resolve on-site issues (e.g., equipment failure, unexpected site conditions) efficiently.
  • Skills in monitoring labor hours, material usage, and project costs to meet financial goals.
  • Ability to perform hands-on work,operatemachinery, and work in varied weather conditions.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time delivery.

Level Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, horticulture, facility services, or Interiorscaping
  • Proven leadership in managing field crews and delivering high-touch service
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with routing software, CRM/ERP systems (Aspire preferred), and inventory tools
  • Horticultural knowledge and plant careexpertisestrongly preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Must have a validdriverslicense andmaintainaclean driving record.
