Position: Kitchen Expo

Location: In person required: 11801 Ventura Blvd. Studio City, CA 91604

Shift: Open, Swing, Closing, Weekends, Holidays (Mandatory)

Starting Base Salary: $17.50 $20.50 per hour plus tips

Expected Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week (based upon business needs)

Supervisory: Reports to Back of House Manager, Assist GM, and General Manager

Position Summary:

The Kitchen Expo is the heartbeat of our brunch rush the essential bridge between frontofhouse fun and backofhouse flavor. Youll keep the flow smooth by managing tickets, calling out orders with clarity, and making sure every dish looks incredible before it hits the dining room. From doublechecking presentation to coordinating perfect timing, you help ensure guests get their food hot, fresh, and exactly right. Youll keep the line organized, jump in with final garnishes when needed, and uphold our high standards for speed, accuracy, and consistency. To thrive in this role, youll need sharp multitasking skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to stay cool and focused when the brunch energy is at its peak.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining room
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and presentation of all dishes before they leave the line
  • Communicate clearly with chefs, cooks, servers, and support staff
  • Prioritize tickets and maintain an efficient pace during high-volume service
  • Assist with plating, garnishing, and final touches as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line
  • Support the team with a positive, solution-focused attitude

What Were Looking For:

  • 2 years experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment Expo experience preferred not required
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to serve
  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of health regulations and ability to enforce cleanliness standards.
  • Required Food Handlers Certification
