Depending on your employer, you may also assist with installing new equipment or supporting upgrades. The role often involves a mix of hands-on technical work and daily coordination with fellow technicians and training staff to maintain seamless operation.
A Simulator Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing simulation equipment used for training purposes, such as flight or driving simulators. They ensure that the systems operate smoothly by performing routine maintenance, software updates, and hardware replacements. Simulator Technicians often work closely with instructors and engineers to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
