HiFyve is hiring a Sr. Chemical Engineer in the Dayton, OH metro!


Pay Range: $120k to $145k + Benefits

Location: Kettering, OH


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and optimization of chemical processes to convert raw materials into finished products, driving efficiency and environmental compliance
  • Oversee engineering projects including timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with R&D, production, and quality teams
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, reinforcing best practices and technical standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations through risk assessments and safety audits
  • Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements to enhance performance and support new product development


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in chemical process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with process simulation software
  • Effective communication and leadership capabilities
