Job description

Radiance Technologies is searching for a Senior M&S Architect and AFSIM SME to create mission level scenarios, develop and debug, and train others in the AFSIM framework.

Job Duties:
  • Support regression testing of new simulation features
  • Validate fixes against DR/CR tickets
  • Perform reproduction steps and document outcomes
  • Assist in automated test execution
  • Support regression testing of new simulation features as the primary focus, validating fixes against DR and CR tickets, reproducing issues, and documenting outcomes.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of C++ or Python development
  • Minimum 5 years of AFSIM development
  • Effective writing and communication skills.
  • Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Required Experience:
  • Creation of mission level AFSIM scenarios and core framework extensions
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain M&S architectures that support complex training and analysis needs.

Desired Experience:
  • Experience integrating AFSIM with other federates such as AFMSTT, ASCCE, or BLCSE.
  • Familiarity with cloud based M&S execution environments.
  • Experience with performance tuning and scalability in large AFSIM runs.
  • Prior involvement in Air Force exercises or events where AFSIM was a primary tool.
