Baihealth Medical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will provide exceptional mental health services to clients while working from the comfort of your own environment. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements that cater to your personal and professional needs. As a member of our hospice center team, you will leverage our secure platform, Simple Practice, to conduct virtual appointments, ensuring complete confidentiality and care in your interactions with clients. • Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and challenges.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions via video conferencing, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to client preferences.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records through the Simple Practice platform while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in our counselor support groups and access to continuing education (CE) discounts.

Your work will considerably impact the lives of diverse clients, including teens, adults, and couples. By offering tailored psychotherapy services to individuals grappling with trauma, grief, and mental health challenges, you will help them navigate their paths toward recovery and emotional well-being. Your expertise will play a critical role in addressing the unique needs of clients who require compassionate care as they manage their mental health journeys.

• Current licensure as a mental health clinician (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, marriage/family therapy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in treatment planning and mental health counseling, including trauma-informed care.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage clients empathetically and effectively.
• Ability and comfort to navigate virtual counseling sessions efficiently.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in psychotherapy, particularly with teens, adults, and couples.
• Experience in telehealth or remote therapy settings.
• Familiarity with Simple Practice or similar practice management software is advantageous.
