Medallion Mental Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team. This full-time remote position allows for the flexibility of working from home while providing mental health services to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will hold licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, and be equipped to manage initial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver effective therapy to clients via digital platforms.

As a fully remote outpatient facility located in Portland, Oregon, Medallion Mental Wellness Center embraces a telehealth model that enhances service delivery through technology. Our counselors are empowered to connect with clients via our user-friendly Simple Practice platform, which supports video conferencing and secure messaging. This setup allows for a seamless therapeutic experience while ensuring the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality.

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to establish client needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Providing ongoing psychotherapy to individuals, including adults, teens, and couples, through virtual appointments.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to facilitate positive client outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress notes within the Simple Practice system.
• Participating in regular supervision and team collaboration meetings to ensure best practices and continued professional development.
• Supporting clients in navigating their therapeutic journeys and making recommendations for resources and additional services as needed.
• Staying updated on clinical best practices and completing required continuing education units (CEUs).

Our patient population encompasses a wide range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. As a counselor at Medallion, you will play a pivotal role in empowering clients to achieve their mental wellness goals.

• Current licensure as a mental health clinician (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated skills in treatment planning and psychotherapy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective virtual client interactions.
• Familiarity with telehealth and virtual appointment settings is a plus, but training is provided.

• Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including varying age groups and presenting issues.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities and techniques.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management.

• Competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 - 110,000, commensurate with experience.
• Consistent referrals to help establish a full clinical caseload within the first 30 days.
