Job description

Simms Management Corp. is looking for an HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems for our apartment communities in the south Dayton market.

Responsibilities:

  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance 
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and certified in HVAC work with quality experience in the HVAC field
  • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skill
  • Must be able to perform quality work, attention to detail, be self-motivated, have good driving record and have good communication skills.
  • Work week typically Monday - Friday with some overtime. Must be willing to be on call for one week over a six week period.
