Job description

Standard Job Description Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. Basic Qualifications To be considered, candidates must demonstrate: Industrial Engineering experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Experience analyzing production data to identify issues and implement process improvements. Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping) Experience with production planning, capacity analysis, and throughput optimization. Partner with Manufacturing and Facilities Engineering to support production line design, layout, and workflow optimization

Establish and monitor performance metrics related to cost, schedule, and throughput. Experience working cross-functionally within manufacturing or operations teams. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience planning, launching, and ramping up production lines or manufacturing programs. Leadership experience, including developing teams, driving performance, and resolving conflicts.

Experience using production analytics and simulation tools (e.g., SAP, Apriso, Tableau, Simio). Strong communication skills, including building and delivering presentations to Senior Leadership. Ability to manage multiple prorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
