Location: Clearwater FL

Employment Type: 6 Month Contract

Pay Range: $48.00- $50.48/ hr

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier performance, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives for a valued client. This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with strong supplier audit, root cause analysis, corrective action, and engineering drawing interpretation experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with client quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action activities to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve performance, strengthen quality processes, and support business objectives.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings to support hardware disposition and quality decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong project management, influencing, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience leading supplier development initiatives.
  • Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
