Product PR & Review Management - Turn launches into cultural moments and reviews into competitive advantages.
  • Own the full product PR lifecycle: messaging development, press release drafting, embargo coordination, reviewer outreach, and post-launch amplification for all Elgato NPIs and partnership announcements
  • Build and maintain a tiered media list across tech, creator-focused, lifestyle, and business publications
  • Develop reviewer briefing kits that translate specs into creator outcomes and drive Elgato products strategies and narratives
  • Manage seeding strategy for new product categories, identifying which creators and journalists get early access and why - creating momentum for every Elgato NPI
  • Track review sentiment, message pull-through, and share of voice. Feed insights back into product and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with Corsair Gaming and Fanatec teams on coordinated Stream Deck Everywhere launches: aligning embargo timing, shared media briefings, co-branded narratives, and cross-ecosystem storytelling that positions Stream Deck as the unifying platform across gaming peripherals, sim racing, and creator tools

Strategic PR & Thought Leadership - Shape the narrative. Don't just react to coverage - create the stories the industry wants to tell.
  • Identify and develop proactive story angles around creator economy growth, gaming, and the convergence of consumer and professional AV
  • Draft bylined articles, op-eds, and thought leadership pieces for executive placement in Tier 1 business and tech publications
  • Build quarterly PR plans with clear objectives, target outlets, story angles, and KPIs aligned to business goals
  • Monitor competitive communications weekly. Flag opportunities for Elgato to lead industry conversations
  • Advise on announcement timing and sequencing to maximize impact and avoid collision with industry news cycles

B2B, Pro AV & Broadcast PR - Extend Elgato's reach into professional markets while keeping the brand authentic.
  • Develop B2B-specific messaging for enterprise buyers, IT decision-makers, and AV integrators. Emphasize reliability, scalability, deployment simplicity, and total cost of ownership
  • Write for Pro AV and broadcast trade press in the language integrators and engineers speak
  • Create vertical positioning for corporate communications, education, houses of worship, and broadcast/production segments
  • Produce case studies, solution briefs, and white papers that serve as proof points for enterprise credibility
  • Support B2B team with trade media outreach, distributor announcements, and vertical market thought leadership

Event & Speaker PR - Make Elgato unmissable at every event that matters.
  • Develop event PR timelines for key shows: pre-event outreach, on-site media appointments, demo coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • Identify and secure speaking opportunities at key events and relevant podcasts/webinars
  • Prepare speaker briefing docs, talking points, and executive bios tailored to each audience context
  • Compile post-event reports with coverage analysis, key conversations, and actionable learnings

Crisis & Issues Management - Protect the brand. Move fast, stay calm, be transparent.
  • Develop scenario-based crisis playbooks covering product issues, supply chain disruptions, social media backlash, and negative reviews going viral
  • Draft holding statements and Q&A documents that can be activated within hours
  • Provide real-time messaging counsel during active situations, balancing transparency with legal and business considerations
  • Coordinate with Corsair corporate communications when issues have parent-company implications

Global PR Strategy & Coordination- Build the playbook the whole team runs.
  • Define global messaging frameworks, positioning documents, and launch playbooks that ensure consistent Elgato narrative across all markets
  • Set the PR calendar aligned to product launch roadmap, (r)etail moments and industry events
  • Lead, coach, elevate and coordinate a small global PR team to improve PR execution in existing markets
  • Establish measurement framework: media coverage tracking, sentiment analysis, share of voice, AI search citation monitoring, and earned media value
  • Build and maintain global media database and press kit infrastructure

AI-Powered PR (Cross-Cutting) - Use AI to elevate every aspect of the work.
  • Develop a systematic earned media approach that builds the third-party citation footprint required for AI-generated search answers (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude)
  • Leverage AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate press release drafting, pitch development, messaging iteration, and briefing document creation
  • Use AI-powered media monitoring and sentiment analysis to surface coverage trends, competitive signals, and emerging story angles faster than manual methods
  • Apply AI to media list research, journalist profiling, and outlet analysis to improve targeting precision and outreach efficiency
  • Build AI-assisted workflows for coverage reporting, share of voice tracking, and earned media value calculation
  • Stay current on AI developments in the PR/communications space and continuously identify new ways to integrate AI into team workflows

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual Salary Range $140,000-$170,000 USD
