This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Silo Ridge Field Club, set in Amenia, New York.
Silo Ridge Field Club is seeking a Seasonal Farm Attendant to join the Farm & Garden Department. This role is full time (40 hours per week) between the dates of April 1 - November 15, 2026.
The Farm Attendant position is a unique blend of farming and hospitality work with a focus on organic vegetable and flower production, and assisting our members while at the Farm. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Farm, Garden & Greenhouse
    • Assist in daily farm tasks, including vegetable and flower production, maintenance, harvesting, and field work.
    • Livestock care to include feedings and cleaning. (goats, chickens, bunnies, bees).
    • Cleaning and stocking of member facing areas including produce and beverage coolers, harvest and packaging stations, etc
  • Member Outreach
    • Work with the Farm & Garden team to assist in hosting educational workshops for families showcasing the farm.
    • Providing excellent service while assisting to members requests and needs.

Qualifications

  • No prior farm experience necessary, Organic Cultivation Experience beneficial.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs
