Job description

Job Summary:
RPM Builds is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bolted Tank/Silo Construction Foreman to oversee and lead our team in the construction and installation of bolted tanks and silos. As the Foreman, you will be responsible for managing the entire construction process, ensuring the project is completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications and schedule.
Responsibilities:

Crew Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead a team of construction workers, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support.
  • Work alongside crew and assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members and monitor their progress.
  • Develop daily JSA and consistently manage jobsite safety hazards and conditions.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and motivating the crew to achieve project goals.

Construction Execution and Quality Control:
  • Oversee the construction process, ensuring work is performed accurately, efficiently, and according to specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of workmanship, materials, and adherence to project plans.
  • Address any issues or deviations promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress reports, work hours, and material usage.

Communication and Collaboration:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and inspectors.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and potential delays to the project manager and other relevant parties.
  • Foster effective communication channels within the construction team, promoting clear and efficient information flow.

Equipment Maintenance and Safety:
  • Ensure that all construction equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary preventive measures.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage crew members to report any safety concerns.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in bolted tank/silo construction or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using construction tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
