The main difference is that a Signer primarily facilitates the signing process of documents, while a Notary Public is an official authorized to verify identities and notarize documents. What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A signer, such as a professional autograph signer or a live event signer, can earn around $10,000 a month through high-profile appearances, endorsements, or exclusive contracts. Success in this field often depends on reputation, networking, and specialized skills rather than formal education.

Can I actually make money as a notary?

A signer, or notary public, can earn money by charging fees for notarizing documents, with rates often set by state regulations. Income depends on the volume of assignments, location, and whether they work independently or for a company, with some notaries earning a part-time or full-time income. Certification and good customer service can help increase earning potential.

How much do signing agents make?

Signing agents, also known as notary signing agents, typically earn between $75 and $200 per signing, depending on the complexity and location. In Virginia, signing agents generally make around $100 to $150 per signing, with experienced professionals earning higher rates, especially for complex or remote signings. Many signing agents work freelance and may also charge additional fees for travel or expedited services.

Which notary job makes the most money?

Among notary-related roles, signing agents or mobile notaries who handle loan signings tend to earn the highest income, often charging $75 to $200 per appointment, with experienced professionals earning more. Their income depends on the number of signings completed, certifications, and geographic location, with some working full-time or on a commission basis.
