Position Summary
This role is responsible for developing engaging, brand-elevating content that connects with customers across social media, digital platforms, and emerging channels. This role combines content creation, graphic design, visual storytelling, and cultural awareness to produce compelling creative that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, brand storytelling, and community engagement. Working closely with Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, Public Relations, and the in-house photography and video teams, this role identifies opportunities to create authentic, social-first content while ensuring all creative reflects the luxury positioning and visual identity of LAGOS. This position also contributes creative ideas, monitors evolving trends, and leverages emerging technologies to continuously enhance content quality and audience engagement.
Essential Functions
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
  • Concept, capture, edit, and publish engaging social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop visual stories that showcase products, styling inspiration, craftsmanship, brand moments, behind-the-scenes content, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Attend photoshoots, retail activations, events, and brand experiences to identify and capture authentic storytelling opportunities.
  • Independently create lightweight, real-time content while collaborating with the in-house photographer and videographer to maximize campaign assets.
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, PR, and Retail teams to develop content that supports seasonal launches, business priorities, and customer engagement.

Design & Creative Development
  • Design compelling creative assets across social media, digital marketing, email, web, and campaign support materials.
  • Adapt campaign creative for multiple channels while maintaining consistency with LAGOS brand standards and visual guidelines.
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and other engaging visual elements that enhance storytelling across digital platforms.
  • Contribute innovative concepts during campaign planning, creative brainstorming sessions, and seasonal content development.
  • Ensure all creative assets reflect the elevated aesthetic, craftsmanship, and luxury positioning of the LAGOS brand.

Trend Intelligence, Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor emerging social media trends, creators, platform updates, consumer behaviors, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for the brand.
  • Analyze content performance and audience engagement metrics to inform future creative decisions and optimize content effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in content creation, graphic design, social media, or a related creative role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both graphic design and social-first content creation.
  • Experience capturing, editing, and producing engaging short-form video content for digital platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of Figma; familiarity with After Effects and CapCut preferred.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and digital design best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, content trends, platform algorithms, and evolving digital culture.
  • Experience within luxury, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or editorial brands strongly preferred.
