Signage Production Person (Channel Letters)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Signage Production Person specializing in channel letter fabrication. You will build, wire, and assemble front-lit, reverse-lit, and custom channel letter signs from raw materials to finished products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate letter returns using computerized bending machines or manual brakes.
  • Cut and fit acrylic faces and aluminum backings accurately.
  • Install LED modules and power supplies according to wiring diagrams.
  • Apply vinyl graphics and trim cap to letter faces.
  • Operate shop tools including routers, saws, drills, and pneumatic riveters.
  • Quality check finished signs for illumination and structural integrity.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in channel letter fabrication.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in UL wiring standards and LED placement. (Teachable)
  • Tool Knowledge: Experience with channel letter benders (e.g., AccuBend, SDS).
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to read and interpret scaled shop drawings.
