We are looking to add an installer to our team in Bloomington, MN.ย ย 

Position Summary:

  • Installation:
    • Assist with the installation of signs at various locations, ensuring they are securely and correctly mounted.
    • Help load and unload materials and tools required for installation jobs.
    • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintenance and Upkeep:
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
    • Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Participate in training sessions to learn industry standards, techniques, and safety practices.
    • Shadow experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge and skills.
    • Stay updated with new technologies and methods in the sign-making industry.
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Vocational training or coursework in graphic design, industrial arts, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Basic understanding of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) is desirable.
    • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
    • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
    • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation.
    • Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • This position involves both indoor and outdoor work environments.
  • The apprentice may be exposed to loud noises, machinery, and various weather conditions.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
