Job description

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is a Residential Health Care Facility striving to provide the highest levels of quality care through continuous improvement, and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community. Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center strives to respond to the rights, needs, and concerns of its residents, families, and staff by creating a caring environment in which each person is respected for his or her individuality and treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a PCA looking to be on the fast track to working as a CNA!

FAST TRACK OPTIONS:

Track 1: TEST OUT OPTION

Many PCAs have the basic knowledge and experience to become a CNA quickly through testing out the written and skills tests needed for their CNA certification.

  • We will provide the CNA Handbook & Skills Handbook needed to study before testing out.

  • We will provide a Q&A with our team to ask any questions before testing out.

  • We will pay for the CNA test upfront once the test is passed.

  • Newly certified CNAs will be able to start immediately facility.

Track 2: WORK WHILE YOU LEARN

The Facility will assist PCAs with signing up and paying for a local CNA course. While taking the course, PCAs will be able to work in a CNA role for up to FOUR months while they finish the course and test out.

  • This option allows PCAs to take the traditional course while making money.

  • PCAs will have upfront training in the facility to help them feel comfortable in the new position.

  • Real on-the-job experience that will help during the coursework.

Wage: Newly hired PCAs will earn $18.25 per hour while working towards the CNA certification. Once certified as a CNA, you will immediately be moved to $18.75 per hour and are eligible for the sign-on bonus per guidelines.
