Position Announcement: Project Manager

RS Industrial Arts collaborates with Architects, Design Firms, General Contractors, and other industry front-runners to plan, build, and implement custom architectural signage, environmental graphics, and branding solutions for a wide variety of projects that include interior and exterior building graphics, site and parking garage signage as well as custom architectural elements, specialized landscape features, and unique sculpture. This is a full-time, in-office position. Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from work location.

We are currently seeking to add a Project Manager to our team.

The successful candidate will:

Manage a variety of project types, including interior and exterior signage, with varying scopes of work. Oversee each assigned project through its workflow from notice-to-proceed to installation.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project status and scheduling. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all assigned projects.

Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors and prepare purchase orders to acquire materials and supplies. Develop message schedules based on floorplans and/or field surveys.

Attend out-of-office meetings and site visits as required.

Work to ensure that each assigned project is completed on time and within budget.

and possess:

Ability to read architectural plans and construction documentation. A 2-Year college degree or equivalent certification.

Experience with a signage manufacturer, environmental graphics firm, or similar trade.


Other valued skills and experience:

Basic knowledge of signage regulations established by the ADA 2010, IBC, IFC, and local codes. Knowledge of materials including acrylic and aluminum.

Understanding of fabrication methods and processes.
