Job description

Now Hiring: CDL Driver / Sign Installer All Training Provided

If you're the type who likes working outside, solving problems with your hands, climbing to new heights (literally), and seeing the results of your work light up a skyline... we've got a hard hat with your name on it.

At SkyRite, we don't just install signs. We finish what others start. Our signs are commitments, symbols of our customers' identity, and they only shine because of the skilled technicians who install and service them with pride and precision. That's you.

This role is full-time and hourly, with the opportunity for steady overtime...and thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill, your overtime pay is now tax-free. That means more of what you earn, stays yours.

This job is hands-on, physical, and outdoors. You'll work on lifts, rooftops, ladders, and trucks. You'll install cool signs, fix busted lights, chase down outages, and make sure our customers stay visible and vibrant. Every job is different. Everyday matters. And your work literally shapes the skyline.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Drive and operate sign trucks
  • Help install and service illuminated and non-illuminated signs and lighting
  • Read drawings, review job specs, and follow codes to get it right the first time
  • Load your truck with tools, materials, and equipment to minimize return trips
  • Communicate clearly with the office, your crew, and the customer
  • Use checklists, document your work, and take pride in a job well done

This Is Not a Dead-End Job

We're not looking for someone who just wants to punch a clock. We're building the next generation of licensed Journeyman Sign Electricians who want more. Every Sign Tech is put on a Training Path to grow skills, learn the trade, and eventually earn the licenses that open the door to bigger pay, more complex projects, and leadership roles.

If you're not moving forward, you're holding us back. We'll train you, invest in you, and challenge you...but you've got to want it.

You'll Love This Job If You...

  • Like working outdoors and with your hands
  • Take pride in doing work that's seen by thousands
  • Enjoy physical work that keeps you moving and learning
  • Want a career path with real growth, not just a job
  • Appreciate a team that looks out for each other and gets it done

What You'll Get in Return

  • Competitive hourly pay based on your experience
  • Overtime pay that's now tax-free under the new federal law
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plan options
  • Company-paid life insurance ($25,000)
  • Company-paid long-term disability coverage
  • Optional FSA, HSA (if eligible), short-term disability, critical care, supplemental life insurance, and even pet insurance
  • Two weeks of paid time off per year (accrues and grows with tenure)
  • Eight paid holidays per year
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Training and licensing support for Journeyman Sign Electrician license
  • A real path to grow your career in a skilled trade

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid commercial driver's license and 5 months of CDL driving experience
  • A reliable work ethic
  • Comfortable with heights, ladders, and physical labor
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as a team
  • Some MIG welding experience and electrical knowledge are a plus, but not required

If you're ready to work hard, grow fast, and be part of something big...we're ready for you!
