Job description


The position of Sign Assembler is responsible for all final assembly of signage. This position must work with shipping and quality control to assemble to correct product by agreed-upon dates.

DUTIES

  • Ability to assemble signs per productions orders
  • Possess knowledge of various hand and power tools ( drills, table saw, jig saw, etc.)
  • Ability to follow procedure and direction from supervisor
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical process for assembly
  • Trouble shoot issues due to assemble, manufacturing and report to supervisor
  • Adhere to ASHA regulations and keep clean work area.


To become a part of our team we require applicants for our Sign Assembler position to have the following qualifications:

SKILLS

  • Thoroughness/detailed
  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to read blue prints and interpret sign/shop drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous projects simultaneously

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience

EXPERIENCE

  • One year of experience in manufacturing, service or similar industry. Sign industry experience preferred
