ย Job SummaryEnsures support to the program management team regarding all quality related issues on programs to support its objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customer satisfaction. Applies program quality procedures and plans and ensures appropriate implementation and compliance from the program team. Identifies and mitigates program risks.Impact of the RoleGeneral Profile

Essential Functions
  • Lead the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes throughout the production lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment.
  • Leads program team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.
  • Identifies Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with the program team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
  • Validates effective internal controls system is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Performs audits on program delivery and ensures the use of Quality data analytics to identify risks and nonconformances and ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
Additional Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing program quality requirements, identifying and mitigating program risks, ensuring on time and accurate submission of Customer Deliverable Documentation Requirements, analyze program defects, trend analysis and conduct root cause analysis as applicable to eliminate defects and improve product quality, cost and schedule.

Required Qualifications
  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills:ย Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other Engineering-related degree.Six Sigma Green Belt. Project Management Professional. Strong Mechanical Background.
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Program Quality. Issue Resolution. KPI Management. Performance Analysis. Quality Audit. Quality Improvement. Regulatory Compliance. ISO9001:2015 Lead auditor or AS9100D Lead Auditor.
  • Relevant Program Quality Engineering experience within Manufacturing, Military, Aerospace/Aviation, Medical industry.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-50% of time, including possible international travel.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
  • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
