Human Resources Representative Job Overview
Sigma, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Representative to support multiple non-union manufacturing facilities in Carlisle, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with experience in employee relations, recruiting, HR administration, compliance, and employee engagement who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Human Resources support and services to six (6) non-union facilities.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions, concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Support employee relations activities and conflict resolution efforts.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers by providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support hourly production recruiting activities.
  • Assist with onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, programs, and employment regulations.
  • Maintain employee files, records retention, and HR documentation.
  • Support HR administration, reporting, and special projects.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
  • Participate in change management initiatives and organizational improvements.
Qualifications
Required:
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in employee relations and HR administration.
  • Experience recruiting hourly production or manufacturing employees.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
  • Experience using Kronos workforce management software.
  • Manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or production environment experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or facilities.
