A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as a Certified NDE Level II Technician at Siemens Energy Turbine Services in Charlotte! You will provide essential inspection services both in-process and at final, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures. Imagine documenting your findings meticulously through Quality Control Instructions and utilizing SAP software systems to enhance our operational efficiency. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards, supporting our mission of delivering low-emission power generation.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • You will provide inspection services both in-process and at final within the Charlotte Siemens Energy Turbine Services, leveraging your minimum of 5 years of NDE experience.
  • You must hold Level II certification in VT, MT, PT, UT (Shearwave), PAUT, or ET or RT, with Level II ET or RT being a valuable asset.
  • You will meet Siemens Energy Level II certification requirements through testing and provide objective evidence of your certification and experience.
  • You will take critical to quality (CTQ) dimensional measurements and perform NDE requirements according to specifications, documenting your findings via Quality Control Charts and presentations.
  • You will validate NDE paperwork for accuracy in the Operating Information Landscape (OIL) and upload reports to Quality Notifications/Service Notifications (QN/SN) via SAP, ensuring seamless communication with Manufacturing and Design Engineers.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • You are Level II certified in VT, PT, MT, UT (Shearwave), PAUT, or ET or RT, with additional Level II ET or RT certification being beneficial.
  • You bring at least 5 years of NDE experience in the Power Generation Industry.
  • You may be required to travel occasionally in this position and have experience with gauging, drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • You are flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends, supporting our Gas Turbine operations on the 3x12 Weekend Days schedule.
