Position Overview

Help keep America's next generation of rail vehicles moving.
As a Production Material Handler I, you'll play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing of advanced rail vehicles by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time. Working closely with production, planning, and supply chain teams, you'll help maintain material flow, support inventory accuracy, coordinate shipments, and keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in organization and accuracy, and wants to make a direct impact on the production of world-class transportation solutions.
What you will do:
  • Ensure production teams have the materials, components, and inventory needed to meet manufacturing schedules
  • Pick, kit, stage, and distribute materials to support locomotive and rail vehicle production
  • Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials while maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, customer orders, and production-related logistics activities
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to move materials safely and efficiently
  • Support inventory control activities, cycle counts, SAP transactions, and inventory reconciliation
  • Work closely with Production Planners, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material shortages and maintain material readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
