Foreman/Siding & Carpenter needed to run a team.

About Us: Tacheny Exteriors is a fourth-generation, family-owned home remodeling company that specializes in roofing, siding, gutters, windows & doors, soffit & fascia, and decks. With decades of excellence behind us and a growth-focused future ahead, we take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and creating a positive experience for our customers and team members alike.

We're expanding our W2 crew and are looking for motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals who want to grow with a company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term success.

As a foreman you'll play an integral role in executing high-quality exterior remodeling projects, including installations and repairs. You will lead the team and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and up to Tacheny standards.

This is a hands-on, full-time position with opportunities for training, advancement, and year-round employment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute siding and window projects: Review work orders, projects photos and job notes for project installation planning
  • Manage materials: Review material lists as needed, order supplies as needed, and maintain stock for installers.
  • Supervise crew: Instruct and guide installers and assist with installation on projects, ensure OSHA safety rules are followed
  • Ensure quality: Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards, deadlines and code requirements
  • Manage projects: Track project budgets, schedule tasks, and ensure company policies are followed
  • Communicate: Collaborate with customers and other team members
  • Document work: Maintain work records and prepare reports, if needed
  • Assist in building the team and training new W-2 installers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $36-$40 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 6-10+ year of experience in construction or exterior remodeling is required.
  • Strong knowledge of siding and window installation.
  • Average knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • MN Code Knowledge
  • Manufacturer Specs

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
  • Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
