Position Description
The Field Foreman is DG Texas's on-site leader responsible for executing work safely, productively, and in accordance with contract documents and generally accepted industry practices. The foreman is directly accountable for labor performance, quality of work, safety compliance, and coordination with DG project management.
El Capataz de Campo es el líder en obra de DG Texas responsable de ejecutar los trabajos de manera segura, productiva y conforme a los documentos contractuales y a las prácticas generalmente aceptadas de la industria. Position Requirements
Managerial Expectations
• Foremen are expected to own labor performance on their projects
• Assign daily tasks and crew sizes to meet schedule and productivity expectations
• Quality issues caught late or requiring rework are unacceptable
• Temporary labor is managed with the same standards as DG employees
• Communication problems are addressed early, not after the fact
• Organize and manage tasks and manpower
• Technical Skills
• Read, interpret and execute work in accordance with shop drawings is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Spanish speaking a plus
    • Relevant computer skills: Blue Beam, Excel, Power BI
