Job description

Benefits:
  • Bonus based on performance
  • Company parties
  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible schedule
  • Free uniforms
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Paid time off
  • Training & development

Ideal Siding Pittsburgh is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to become our primary residential closer and take ownership of the sales pipeline.
This is a player-coach position. Initially, your focus will be personally selling high-value siding and exterior remodeling projects. As the company grows, you will help recruit, train, and lead additional salespeople.
You will be supported by an Estimator and Proposal Writer, allowing you to spend more time selling and less time measuring homes, preparing scopes, and building proposals.
Qualified company-generated opportunities are provided. No cold calling required
Responsibilities
  • Conduct professional in-home sales consultations.
  • Present siding and exterior remodeling solutions.
  • Build value, handle objections, discuss financing, and confidently ask for the sale.
  • Manage open opportunities and maintain disciplined follow-up.
  • Own the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Meet monthly and annual revenue and conversion goals.
  • Protect company pricing and gross-margin standards.
  • Coordinate closely with estimating, proposal, and operations teams.
  • Review lost opportunities and continuously improve the sales process.
  • Eventually recruit, train, coach, and manage additional salespeople.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven success in high-ticket residential sales.
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
  • In-home sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Home improvement, siding, roofing, windows, bath, HVAC, solar, or similar experience is a major plus.
  • Strong closing, objection-handling, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable discussing price, financing, and large purchasing decisions with homeowners.
  • Organized and disciplined with CRM and follow-up.
  • Competitive, accountable, resilient, and coachable.
  • Sales leadership or coaching experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Pittsburgh market.
  • Availability for homeowner appointments, including some evenings and occasional Saturdays.

How Success Is Measured
Performance will be evaluated based on:
  • Sold revenue
  • Close rate
  • Average contract value
  • Gross-margin compliance
  • Pipeline management
  • Follow-up discipline
  • Cancellation rate
  • Customer experience

We are looking for someone who understands that the goal is not simply more revenue-it is profitable revenue and an excellent customer experience.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $60,000
  • Uncapped Commission
  • Target Total Compensation: $120,000-$150,000+
  • Significant upside for exceptional performance

Career Opportunity
This is an opportunity to do more than sell.
The right person will have the opportunity to help build and eventually lead the Ideal Siding Pittsburgh sales organization as the company continues to grow throughout Western Pennsylvania.
If you are a proven home-improvement closer who knows your numbers, takes ownership of your pipeline, and wants the opportunity to build something larger than your own book of business, we want to talk with you.
Candidates should be prepared to discuss measurable past performance, including annual sales volume, close rate, average ticket, and sales leadership experience
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
