We are looking for a talented and motivated Estimator to join our team. This position will work with the designers, homeowners and contractors to ensure all project bids are completed to their specifications. Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of home, light commercial and agricultural building construction and will be able to provide support in the preparation of specifications, estimates and project proposals. Working at the lumber counter will include sale of these products as well.
Responsibilities:
  • Estimate the cost of a project.
  • Provide time frames for completing tasks.
  • Analyze the cost of a project, factoring in hidden costs and risks.
  • Trace all costs back to the source.
  • Distribute financial information to key stakeholders.
  • Be able to analyze new data and make adjustments to the project cost.

Requirements:
  • Experience in construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience in construction projects (installing doors/windows, roofing, siding)
  • Live within 50 miles of Dorchester, WI 

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift/40 hour workweek
