Key Responsibilities

  • Exterior Estimate Creation: Develop comprehensive, line-item estimates for exterior restoration and reconstruction projects (roofing, siding, exterior trim, windows, gutters) using Xactimate and Symbility.
  • TPA Portal Management: Navigate and manage estimates through Third-Party Administrator (TPA) software platforms including Alacrity, Sedgwick, CodeBlue, Crawford, etc., strictly adhering to carrier guidelines and SLA turnaround times.
  • Scope Review & Verification: Analyze field documentation, job site photographs, adjuster scopes, and aerial roof/siding reports (EagleView, Hover, etc.) provided by field teams.
  • Negotiation & Supplements: Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, TPAs, and property owners to approve supplements, clarify line items, and ensure optimal margin realization.
  • Pipeline Management: Track estimates within our CRM/job management systems from submission through approval, maintaining real-time status updates.
Position Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in restoration/reconstruction estimating.
  • Dual Software Proficiency: Must possess strong, demonstrated proficiency in BOTH Xactimate AND Symbility software platforms.
  • TPA Systems Expertise: Proven track record working with TPA workflow systems (e.g., Alacrity, Sedgwick, etc.).
  • Exterior Focus: In-depth knowledge of exterior residential and commercial building envelopes, including roofing materials, siding, trim, and flashing systems.
  • Schedule Alignment: Ability to work full-time during standard business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric and professional approach to adjuster negotiations.
