Job description

At Side, we believe everyone should own their path.

Side partners with top-producing real estate professionals to help them own and operate their own boutique real estate companies, without the legal, regulatory, or operational complexity of running a traditional brokerage. As a pioneer in the Brokerage-as-a-Service model, Side provides a proprietary platform that increases efficiency, strengthens client relationships, and enables entrepreneurs to focus on what they do best - selling real estate and growing their businesses.

Headquartered in San Francisco and backed by more than $300 million from top-tier venture capital firms, Side is recognized as one of the most innovative and fastest-growing companies in real estate. At Side, you'll work alongside experienced industry leaders and world-class engineers to help shape the future of real estate and empower exceptional professionals to thrive as business owners.
About the Role

We're looking for a creative and execution-focused Social Media Specialist to lead strategy and content creation across both Side's brand channels and executive social presence. This is not a reactive role - we want someone who brings fresh ideas to the table, spots opportunities before they're obvious, and creates content that captures the attention of the industry's top-performing agents.

In this role, you'll create and publish engaging short-form content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn to ensure Side shows up as impressively as the elite agents we serve. You'll manage our social presence, identify timely trends and engagement opportunities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and agent partners to bring content ideas to life quickly, creatively, and consistently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

About our Customers

We serve a highly discerning, relationship-driven customer base-top 1-5% of real estate professionals in competitive, high-value markets. Our clients are entrepreneurial, brand-conscious, and deeply connected within their communities. They expect concierge service and value trust, reputation, and personalization. Marketing to this audience requires precision, credibility, and a deep understanding of how to create value through relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end creation of short-form video content: filming, editing, sound, captions, and publishing across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Identify and jump on high-leverage moments for real-time engagement (e.g., industry news, big partner wins, etc.)

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate company priorities into engaging content ideas.

  • Develop and test new content formats, concepts, and campaign ideas.
Monitor analytics and performance to continuously improve channel engagement and posting cadence.

  • Travel occasionally to capture real-time content at events, offsites, and on-the-go shoots with our CEO.

  • Develop and own a weekly content calendar across platforms that aligns with marketing priorities, events, and thought leadership goals.

  • Capture, repackage, and distribute behind-the-scenes content and real-time moments at events, office gatherings, and team offsites.

  • Ensure everything published is visually, tonally, and strategically on-brand.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing brand and/or executive social media accounts, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Proven ability to create and publish short-form video content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos), including shooting, editing, sound, captions, and publishing

  • Proficient in mobile-first content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of social media best practices, including optimal posting cadence, hashtag strategy, and visual storytelling

  • Demonstrated success growing and engaging audiences across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube

  • Ability to translate brand and business priorities into compelling, on-brand content that resonates with a high-caliber, entrepreneurial audience

  • Highly attuned to emerging social trends, memes, platform updates, and industry conversations, with the instinct to jump on real-time opportunities

  • Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders, including marketing, leadership, and customers, to ideate and execute content

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events and on-the-go content capture

  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for brand voice, tone, and visual identity
