Experienced Window Treatment Installer – Budget Blinds | Annapolis, MD

Location: Annapolis, MD and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Experienced Installers Wanted

Budget Blinds is seeking an experienced Window Treatment Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for candidates who have a strong background installing custom blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window treatments.

Previous window covering installation experience is highly preferred and will be given priority during the hiring process.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Installation of custom blinds, roller shades, cellular shades, Roman shades, woven woods, and shutters
  • Experience with motorized shades and smart-home integrated window treatments
  • Installation and troubleshooting of motorization systems and remote controls
  • Experience installing outdoor shades and exterior solar screen systems
  • Accurate measuring and adjustment of window treatment products
  • Customer-facing installation and service experience

Responsibilities

  • Install custom blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, motorized window treatments, and outdoor shading systems.
  • Ensure installations are completed accurately, professionally, and efficiently.
  • Program and test motorized shade systems and educate customers on operation.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and perform service calls when necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff regarding project status and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of window treatment installation experience preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience installing motorized shades, outdoor shades, and custom shutters.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage installation schedules.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely on ladders.
