Job description

Join our winning team, High Velocity-Category 5, the industry leader in hurricane protection and wind abatement systems.  In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth and develop a consistent pipeline of business in the hurricane shutter protection market. 
Hurricane protection experience preferred but not mandatory, we will train the right individual.   We provide you with industry leading hurricane protection solutions to sell, an office/showroom to demonstrate our products, and a 20 plus year history of success in the market. 

In this role you will be required to:

·       Learn everything about our hurricane protection solutions and the hurricane protection/wind abatement systems market

·       Develop and execute a sales strategy for the local residential market including lead follow-up, cold calls and various outside sales tactics to grow the business

·       Travel locally to customer sites and work with the customer both in person and on the phone throughout the sales and project process

·       Evaluate a residential structure and design/measure an appropriate hurricane protection solution

·       Comprehend residential architectural drawings

·       Lift, load and transport product samples as necessary

·       Execute a consultative sales process: develop solutions tailored to customer’s needs; present designs and contracts to the homeowner/builder/developer; close sales; manage the customer’s needs and expectations from pre-sale through installation

·       Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and always represent the company professionally

·       Periodically provide updates on your sales plan and pipeline

·       Manage the database of customers and projects

Qualifications:

·       Sales experience preferred

·       Valid driver’s license

·       Must be able to lift shutter materials

·       Must be able to operate on a ladder

·       Must speak English and be able to communicate effectively with the customer

Compensation: 

This is a 1099 role; commission on sales; draw against future commissions during ramp-up period.  No cap to your earning potential.
