We’re looking for an installer to train directly under the owner. You’ll shadow on jobs to learn the process and gradually take over installs independently. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a growing company.
Hours for the position are Monday–Friday (some flexibility depending on project load)
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials
- Shadow and support on the installation of shades, blinds, and shutters
- Learn and perform precise measuring and installation techniques
- Handle tools, ladders, and equipment safely
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve during installs
- Communicate professionally with clients in their homes
Qualifications
- Basic carpentry, handyman, or construction background preferred (but not required)
- Comfortable using hand tools, drills, and ladders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
