Set on over 2,400 sandy, secluded acres, here you will find dramatic elevation changes that highlight four distinct and diverse ecosystems: towering pines and hardwood forest, open, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and steep ravines carved by spring-fed creeks that crawl through the secluded site. Position Summary:

At Wild Spring Dunes Golf Resort, our Golf Shop Attendants play a key role in delivering an exceptional golf experience to every member and guest. The Golf Shop Attendant provides outstanding customer service by assisting with daily golf operations, retail sales, and guest inquiries. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for the game of golf.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional manner.
  • Check in golfers, process green fees, and manage tee times through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions while following proper accounting procedures.
  • Maintain an organized, attractive, and fully stocked golf shop, ensuring merchandise displays are neat and inviting.
  • Assist with receiving, pricing, and restocking golf merchandise, apparel, and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding tee times, course conditions, merchandise, and resort amenities.
  • Support outside operations by communicating with starters, rangers, and valet staff to ensure smooth daily flow.
  • Uphold Wild Spring Dunes standards for guest service, professionalism, and presentation at all times.
  • Ensure end-of-day procedures are completed accurately, including register closeout and daily reporting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior customer service or retail experience preferred; golf industry experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and is etiquette strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
