Job description

Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for processing orders, quoting requests for modified listings or non-standard offerings. The employee should always be working with the team to optimize the company’s online sales platform for crane parts and related components. This role ensures accurate product listings, strong digital merchandising, and efficient customer purchasing experience while driving online revenue growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Experience amp; Sales Support
  • Support online customers through chat, email, or CRM systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to parts compatibility, availability, and order status.
  • Work to streamline and enhance user experience.
  • Troubleshoot issues with orders, shipping, and returns.
E-Commerce Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, or proprietary systems).
  • Upload, maintain, and update product listings for crane parts, including detailed specifications, compatibility, and technical data.
  • Monitor product price listings between ERP systems and the online store.
Product Content amp; Catalog Management
  • Create and optimize product descriptions with accurate terminology for crane components (hydraulics, hoist systems, boom parts, etc.).
  • Maintain high-quality product images, schematics, and documentation.
  • Ensure proper categorization, tagging, and filtering for ease of navigation.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce management.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, eBay, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • Technical understanding of mechanical or hydraulic components is a plus.
