Job description

We are looking for a Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead the team at Local Grind. You will work with our chef to deliver high-quality service and motivate staff to provide stellar customer service. Coffee Shop Supervisor's responsibilities include maintaining the Coffee Shop revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in the front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining area, check-in with customers, and balance capacity. You'll hire qualified Barristas, breakfast cook, and Wait Staff set work schedules, and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations. We'll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our Coffee Shop runs smoothly and customers have a pleasant experiences.
responsibilities for this position include:
Responsible for scheduling, timekeeping, mid and end of season appraisals, and daily supervision of front of house staff, Accurately schedule staff to business level based on forecast
  • Hold and document daily pre-shift meetings and conduct all staff meetings as needed
  • Ensure the health and safety of staff and customers in the café
  • Responsible to monitor switching equipment function strictly based on switching operation rules
  • Proper guest service requires an employee staff that is thoroughly trained in service sequence, product knowledge, and makes every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest

  • Ordering and Inventory monthly

  • Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the outlet manager and F&B team to implement agreed upon strategies, practices, and promotions
  • Have full knowledge of outlet menus
  • Uphold all safety and sanitation policies in the outlet
