Position Summary
Provide support to the Shop in expediting parts to the service shop as needed. Responsible for general upkeep and cleaning of Service Shop.
Essential Tasks
1. Maintain overall appearance of the service shop
2. Operate vehicle for the purpose of picking up parts and supplies from various suppliers within a ___ mile radius.
3. Work as part of the team and contribute to a positive, friendly and clean work environment
4. Perform general housekeeping
5. Load materials into vehicles and install bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
6. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
7. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
8. Conduct transactions to sell parts to Service Shop for Mechanics to install

Handling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs. up to 15% of the time. Majority
of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs.

Inside/Outside Conditions, Varied Temperature Changes, Minimal Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Dust, Vehicle Noise, Fumes
Equipment
OSHA approved steel toed safety shoes required from the first day of this job.
Qualifications
Education
Ø High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Professional Experience
Ø Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Ø Valid drivers' license with clean driving record.
