We are looking for a Shop Laborer to support our fabrication team. This role is essential to keeping the shop running smoothly and helping fitters and welders work efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate a large band saw to cut materials according to specifications and production requirements
  • Assemble kits and components for fitters, ensuring accuracy and readiness for installation
  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility or yard
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping standards
  • Assist with general labor tasks, including material handling, packaging, and staging
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Previous experience operating a band saw and forklift preferred
  • Ability to read measurements, work orders, and basic instructions
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Commitment to safety procedures and workplace guidelines

Requirements:
