Description
Wheeler Machinery in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time Service Technician 4. This position is responsible for assisting with the disassembly of all engine components in a timely and efficient manner. The Service Technician will help maintain the smooth flow of jobs through the shop and ensure quality standards are met in every task. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn, show consistent improvement from job to job, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspecting part and finding worn parts.
  • Learning SIS and Cat components.
  • Helping others assembled and disassemble components.
  • Working with other to get the job through the shop
  • Looking up part and process on SIS
  • Be able to help make lift plans on components
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma
  • Knowledge of Cat SIS
  • Safety minded
  • Have tools up to 3/4 drive standard and metric.
  • At least 1-2 year of Caterpillar power train components.
