Job description

Ability to direct day to day operation of a service ship with a diverse product line. Work with Service Manager and Service Advisors to coordinate repairs of customer vehicles. Meet time schedules and maintain productivity levels of tech. Maintain quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean environment and a professional atmosphere.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Oher duties may be assigned.
  • Evaluates all estimates for jobs to maintain profitability
  • Reviews repair orders for accuracy
  • Maintains a safe working environment
  • Maintains a clean working environment
  • Work closely with Service Manager and Service Advisors
  • Others duties as assigned

Supervise technicians in the repair of customer vehicles
Supervise work flow in shop to maintain efficiency
Supervise maintenance of shop equipment and tooling
Supervise technicians in maintaining current training and certifications
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Must have High school diploma or GED
AND
Minimum of 3 years' related experience and/or training
Prior supervisory and/or management experience is a plus
Previous experience with a commercial dealership, Freightliner experience a giant plus
Excellent communication and customer service experience.
Good attention to detail
